If your appointments are at Nationwide Children's, the Olentangy corridor's 20 to 25 minute drive is the wrong shape. Downtown hotels are 10 to 12 minutes from the children's campus and offer $180 to $320 rooms with parking at $25 to $45, plus walkable food at hours when suburban kitchens have closed. Ask about hospital rates here too; downtown properties near the medical corridors frequently hold them and do not advertise them. The other route for families with a child in long-term treatment is the dedicated hospitality housing near Nationwide Children's, which is far cheaper than any hotel and designed for exactly this situation — availability is by referral and demand is high, so ask your care team on day one rather than day ten. Dublin's hotels serve Dublin Methodist directly at 5 to 10 minutes, and Bridge Park's newer suites at $155 to $240 are the most comfortable rooms in this whole round-up. Tuttle Crossing at $110 to $160 works only if you are priced out elsewhere; it is 20 minutes from Wexner in traffic.
The value tier along the outerbelt interchanges saves $30 to $40 a night against the Olentangy corridor and costs you 10 to 15 minutes each way, no in-room kitchen and, at the exterior-corridor properties, a poor night's sleep.
